The House The location couldn't be better being set in the heart of the historic old town of Plymouth. The house has 3 floors. On the ground floor is the entrance hall, kitchen, utility room and toilet. On the 1st floor is the living room with smart tv and free Netflix. There is also an office space for using your computer and a printer should you need it. The top floor are the bedrooms - master bedroom at the rear with a double bed and a twin room facing the front of the house. The main bathroom is also on this floor and comprises a separate bath and shower cubicle. The house is at the start of New Street and naming the street "New Street" is a bit strange as New Street is the oldest street in Plymouth. The Area Plymouth offers a diverse range of attractions that cater to every member of the family. From ever-changing events on the Hoe to breathtaking coastal walks, cultural landmarks, and vibrant shopping options in the city and nearby towns, it's no wonder that Plymouth is Devon's most popular holiday destination. Regardless of the weather, you'll be overwhelmed with entertaining options for yourself and your group. Situated right here on the Plymouth Barbican, many of the city's top attractions await your visit. From the renowned National Marine Aquarium with its impressive fish tank, to the famous Plymouth Gin Distillery. The Plymouth Barbican is steeped in history and heritage, boasting stunning architecture, a variety of dining and entertainment options, independent shops, art galleries, and something for all the family. The Mayflower Steps hold great historical significance, as it was from here that the Pilgrim Fathers departed Plymouth on September 6, 1620, aboard The Mayflower to establish their settlement in North America. Today, the Steps feature a commemorative portico adorned with Doric columns made of Portland stone, constructed in 1934. The Plymouth Barbican is home to several distinctive historical pubs and clubs, each with its own unique look and theme. Many of these establishments offer popular entertainment throughout the week. When it comes to dining, you'll be spoilt for choice. The area boasts a wide range of excellent restaurants and pubs, catering to various taste buds and offering traditional British cuisine as well as international flavors from around the world. Additionally, numerous cafes and coffee shops serve delicious light bites and fresh cakes, while a variety of takeaways provide convenient options for those on the go or looking to savor the local street food while exploring. The house is superbly located within a stone's throw of the marina and ancient Barbican, the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth Hoe, The Mayflower Steps, and the abundance of shops, pubs, and restaurants. Boat trips are available to the historic Royal William Yard, offering breathtaking views. Additionally, the proximity to the moors, beautiful towns, and charming villages makes it a perfect destination. With so much to do nearby and a comfortable place to rest after a long day, we are confident you will thoroughly enjoy your stay. Pricing information
