Laleham House - Terms and Conditions

 CHECK IN /OUT TIMES  — Your accommodation will not be available until after 4pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10:30am on the day of departure. Unfortunately we need this length of time to ensure the house is maintained and presented to you in the best possible condition.

 PAYMENTS  — Full payment must be received no later than 10 weeks before the intended arrival date.

 CANCELLATION  — Must be received in writing or email and acknowledged by us. If a cancellation reaches us less than 90 days before the planned arrival date, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged. If a cancellation reaches us less than 60 days before the planned arrival date, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged. If a cancellation reaches us less than 30 days before the planned arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. We would therefore recommend that all clients take out holiday cancellation insurance. In the event that the holiday period is re-let then the cancellation fee will be returned less any incurred costs, this may also reflect a reduced letting fee.

 LIABILITY  — The proprietor accepts no responsibility or liability for personal injury sustained on the premises, nor loss of, or damage to personal property brought into the premises or left in the garden. We cannot be held responsible for the failure of public services (e.g. water, electricity etc) or any disturbance, which is beyond our control.

 BEHAVIOUR OF GUESTS  — The accommodation will not be occupied by more than those persons specified at the time of your reservation, unless previously agreed with the proprietor. It should be noted that Laleham House is let as holiday home for a maximum of 8 people including children. Although we recognise that guests may like to entertain friends in excess of this during the day we hope you will respect this limit. If in the opinion of the proprietor any party causes nuisance or disturbance to others, they will be requested to leave the accommodation with immediate effect

 SMOKING  — In order to ensure the comfort of all our guests, the hirer acknowledges and accepts that there is a strict no smoking policy anywhere on the premises.

 CHILDREN  — welcome.

 PETS  — One well behaved, house trained dog, over 2 years old, is welcome subject to an additional charge of £20 per week. They must be kept in the kitchen area at night and must not, under any circumstances, be taken upstairs to the bedrooms or allowed on the sofas. Sorry - no cats.

 CLEANLINESS  — The hirer shall ensure that the standard of cleanliness of the premises is as high on their departure as on their arrival.

 LINEN  — One set of bed linen is provided for the week. Those on a two week stay will have linen provided for the second week, when we will collect the used linen.

 TOWELS — We supply bath towels which must not be taken off the premises. Please bring your own beach towels if you intend to go swimming. Please rinse sand off feet and shoes and beach toys on the paved area in front of the house before entering the premises to avoid scratching the shower trays and bath etc.

 CAR PARKING  — There are two village car parks. One located 6 minutes walk away and the other 3 minutes walk. There is also free parking on the road approaching the village which is also about 6 minutes walk away.
Unloading can be done by temporarily parking outside the house in Garrett Street although, it will be appreciated if you can unload quickly and/or park so that other vehicles can pass.

 ACCESS  — We reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance. Notice will be given where possible.
